Luis Miguel - Tour 2023

In spite that I have been to concerts previously, I can say that this was my first concert ever. I had the chance to go for my birthday, a deed of the universe because getting a ticket was difficult. I waited from 9 A.M and finally, at 4 P.M I bought mine.

The "Movistar Arena" full of people who liked Luis Miguel´s music is at another level, it was amazing because they gave us some bracelets that turned on when he started singing.

I loved the performance, the live orchestra and the artist of course. My heart said "it´s him" when he went on stage.

He came out on a kind of elevator, with a sun behind him, obviously because he is the "Sol de Mexico".

Forming a choir with other people is a completely beautiful experience, all living the same emotion of happiness.

I think if I had the opportunity of going again to other of his concerts I would do it absolutely willingly. I expect to be in first row this time.

Italy, the country of Pastas

I don´t know if I want to travel to Italy for its architecture, for the language or its food, but this country is probably my best option. I´ve heard that their pastas are delicious and their tiramisu is on a great level.

The language is not difficult to learn because it is similar to the Spanish, for the same reason I could go in an exchange  program to learn and meet the country.

I would love to visit the Roman Coliseum and imagine all activities that were made, the fights or concerts of Opera. 

And I would love to visit Venice, take a ride through the canals, and visit Pisa Tower too, the tourists say that if you are in this Tower, you can´t keep totally in hold.

Obviously, try each one of their dishes, such as raviolis, tortellini, spaghetti and pizza, I believe that the pizza stone is one of dishes that I want to try to taste, all the world loves pizza. Italy has the real pizza.

A place to study math

The career doesn´t have a specific website, you have to search on your own. But not all is lost, I bring a channel to study math

Matefacil is a Youtube channel where you can study all topics of math that you need. I visit this channel very often in the week to learn math theory and to exercise for the tests.

I like this page because I can find the explanation of every subject, exercise with many examples and review the results. I recommend it to study math quickly and easily, because the duration of videos is short.

The fantastic garlic sticks

My favorite food is Garlic stick.

Originally from the United States. 

It consists of a stick-shaped baked dough to which a butter, garlic and cheese sauce is added in addition as well as spices

The place that prepares them, adds a tomato sauce to spread the stick on it, producing a rich mixture of flavors

In general, I like garlic in preparations. For me the garlic sticks are exquisite, I can´t explain in words how much I love them, I just love them.

Actually, it´s not very healthy to eat garlic sticks often, due to all the condiments it has, since in the long run it is bad, and in general fast food is bad for the health

If you still do not try the garlic sticks, I invite you to do so, especially in Papa John´s, I have tried elsewhere and those are not as rich as this place.

My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is my cell phone. 

I have all kind of apps in it and in my galery of pictures I have some of my favorite memories, so I can carry them everywhere. I use my phone almost all the time, for many things, like calling my mom, searching information for a class, check "U-cursos", playing games of puzzles, sent messages of love to my boyfriend. 

When I need to study, it's a distraction because of the sound of notifications, but I use "Do not disturb" mode, that silence all notifications.

I think that the cell phone is important, to communicate in case of an emergency or just to be in touch with our love ones. Some devices count your steps or measure your stress during the day. It is necessary for this fast and busy life.

Why did you choose your major?

When I was a child a had a lot of dreams and a lot of options for study, I wanted to be a teacher, a veterinary, a doctor and a dancer, but the ideas has change.

I wanted to study a career in the healt area, but things didn´t go that way. I took a gap year and I decided to study singing as a hobby. I heard about the career through my teacher and I felt it was for my, I imagined myself producing music and connecting cables at live events. Music and arts have always been part of my life and these are my true passions.

I love going to class and seeing my friends, it makes me happy to learn new things, such as music production applications or sound reinforcment

Who i am?

 Hello! My name is Sofia Mardones, and i‘m your classmate.

For now, I’m a Sound Engeneering student, I like the career but i dislike calculus classes, it is bit difficult. And as good student of Sound, I love music and I listen  to all type of music but i prefer “cebollera” music, the interpretation of artists makes me feel ecstatic. 

I adore Selena Quintanilla and if you want, you can listen to  “Como la “Flor”, the song that became her a star. Luis Miguel is another one of my favorite artists, you can listen to “Suave” or “Hoy el aire huele a ti”.

Also I like reading,but for time issues I don't read usually, the last book i read was “La Balada de los Pájaros cantores y Serpientes” it is a prequel of the “Los Juegos del Hambre” and I’m waiting for the movie, which is going to be released in November.

My most recent hobbie is to spend time with my bird, because it’s a little bird and needs so much love
